people suck

isn't it safe to assume that people are stupid and evil when it comes to daily life? if you are driving you have to assume that guy may pull out in front of you. you expect the worse to prepare for the worse for your self existence and to survive. so people are corrupt as a whole but good as individuals? comment if anyone is reading this lol

should pot be legalized?

i believe pot should be legalized. i don't advocate its use. the argument for its use is extremely valid: tax revenue will shoot California out of its debt and our economy will become one of the worlds greats again.
also we learn history to not repeat our mistakes. prohibition saw an increase in crime related to alcohol. if we take the money from pot out of the hands of foreign drug runners and place it into our economy, the effects would be extremely beneficial. former surgeon general  Dr. Jocelyn Elders agrees: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504763_162-20020049-10391704.html. as a 14 year old i know that pot is far easier to get than alcohol or cigarettes in my school. people have offered it to me. the across the board illegalization of it is useless. if it is legalized for adults and closely regulated, the benefits are great. i also believe that a grown man or woman has a constitutional right of freedom. if you choose to use something in which you have complete control, and it doesn't hurt anyone but you, you should have every right to use it. to date i have not heard a valid argument with a solid point to make against pot's legalization. even an article in time magazine i recently read was extremely biased, threw opinions in like they were facts, and just ranted at the adverse health affects of weed. i can make an article just as valid that argues about the adverse health affects of driving or walking out your front door. please someone debate me on the prop 19 legalization of weed in California! i want to be challenged.
